Press Release: 2 Burglaries in Wayside 
DATE/TIME: Between Friday afternoon 5/15/15 and Sunday evening 5/17/15.
LOCATION: Wayside section of Ocean Township
NARRATIVE:
The Township of Ocean Police Department investigated two residential burglaries in the Wayside section of the township that occurred between Friday afternoon 5/15/15 and Sunday evening 5/17/15. Both residences were in close proximity of each other and both were unoccupied at the time. Assorted items of jewelry and a fur coat were taken.
The Township of Ocean Police Department is offering the following burglary prevention tips to keep from being a victim.
1. Secure all windows and doors when not at home.
2. Light up your home, use timer switches when out.
3. Store keys safely and away from windows and doors.
4. Record details of valuables and don’t keep large amounts of cash at home.
5. Use your alarm, even when at home.
