Two Bloomington men were arrested for possession of a submachine gun and narcotics for sale

INCIDENT: Possession of Narcotics for Sales/ Weapon Violation
LOCATION: 18700 Block of 5th St, Bloomington
SUSPECT(S): Alejandro Martinez, 30 years, and Victor Villareal, 25 years, both of Bloomington

SUMMARY:
On May 8, 2015, an adult female reported she had been sexually assaulted at a residence in Bloomington and detectives initiated an investigation. On May 13, 2015, Fontana Station detectives served a search warrant at the identified residence and contacted Alejandro Martinez and Victor Villareal.
During the search warrant, detectives located a submachine gun, several pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine and cocaine packaged for sales, and U.S. currency related to narcotics sales.
Detectives also recovered evidence related to the sexual assault investigation, which is still ongoing. No arrests have been made related to the sexual assault. The case will be sent to the District Attorney for review.
A 5 year old male juvenile was removed from the residence and released to family members.
Martinez was found to be a convicted felon with prior narcotics and weapons violations. Martinez was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for Possession of Narcotics for Sales, Possession of Firearm by a Felon, and Child Endangerment.
Villareal was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for Possession of Narcotics for Sales.
