Subject: Residential Burglary Turns to Home Invasion Robbery – Arrest Made
Location: Hacienda Heights, CA

On May 12, 2015, Manhattan Beach Police Department detectives served search warrants in the cities of Hacienda Heights and Los Angeles, CA in connection to a November 2014 burglary / robbery at a home in the 100 block of Morningside Drive in Manhattan Beach. Rodolfo Sanchez was taken into custody in Hacienda Heights and was booked at the Manhattan Beach Police Department. He is currently being held on $2,175,000 bail, and is scheduled to be arraigned on May 14, 2015 at the Southwest District – Torrance Superior Court. Sanchez and another suspect, Milton Lavender, were linked to the crime by biological evidence left behind at the scene. Aside from being wanted by the Manhattan Beach Police, Lavender is also wanted by the Los Angeles Police Department for a home invasion robbery in their jurisdiction.
