Type: Assist Other Agency with Suicidal Subject; Cover Now
Synopsis: A deputy sheriff and paramedics responded to the above residence in Bonita. The deputy requested urgent assistance (“Cover Now”). Officers from National City and Chula Vista Police Departments responded to the residence. Apparently, the violent male subject gouged out both of his eyes. One National City corporal assisted by holding down the subject’s legs. There weren’t any reported injuries to NCPD personnel. The subject was transported to the hospital. The Sheriff’s Department is the lead agency on the investigation.

Type: Felony Vandalism and Petty Theft
Synopsis: City employees called the police department when they found three damaged chain-link fences on the east side of City Hall. An officer responded and took a report. City employees recalled the police department when they found 26-year-old male (a resident of Glendale, AZ) inside one of the storage areas. Equipment and tools belonging to the City were found inside the male’s backpack. He was arrested and booked into San Diego Central Jail for felony vandalism and petty theft.
