El Segundo Police Department to Hold 3rd Annual Neighborhood Watch in the Park 
Join the El Segundo Police Department at our third annual Neighborhood Watch in the Park, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:30 AM in Library Park (600 block of Main Street).
This year, the Police Department will discuss current crime trends occurring in the city, as well as prevention methods you can take to protect yourself from being victimized. We will also discuss public sentiment toward police tactics that have been influenced by the media.
Representatives from the Patrol, Special Operations (K-9, SWAT and Traffic), and Investigations will explain their duties and how they impact you, our citizens.
In addition, try to walk the line as you wear our "Fatal Vision" impairment goggles, which simulate what it's like to be under various levels of intoxication.
The Police Department will offer an opportunity to register your bicycle at the event for free. To register your bicycle, either bring it with you, or bring the bicycle serial number (embossed on the underside of the bicycle), and its make and model.
Refreshments will be served and you might win a raffle prize!
