Community Area Watch Meeting on May 21st - Savannah Elementary School
JOIN US FOR THE COMMUNITY AREA WATCH MEETING ON MAY 21ST TO DISCUSS CRIME PREVENTION, COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS.
Rosemead, CA – The City of Rosemead’s next Community Area Watch program is scheduled for Thursday, May 21st, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Savannah Elementary School, 3720 N. Rio Hondo Avenue, Rosemead.
To best serve residents, the city has been divided into nine (9) community areas with a meeting being hosted in each area once during the calendar year. The May 21st, meeting serves Area 4 (For residents bound by Rosemead Boulevard, Valley Boulevard, Strang Avenue, and North of the I-10 Freeway). The purpose of the Community Area Watch meeting is to:
• Educate the community;
• Provide crime statistics and crime trends in the community;
• Share information on personal safety, securing your property, and to help prevent you from becoming victim to a vehicle or home burglary;
• Discuss the importance of Emergency Preparedness and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and much more.
Dinner and raffle prizes will be provided for participants. The City of Rosemead Public Safety Department strives to make Rosemead a safer place to live. You can help!
