Free Boater Ed class this Saturday, 8a-5p, Sheriff's Moses Lake Substation, 1274 Lowry.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit will offer a free Boating Education Course this coming Saturday, May 16 from 8 a.m. – 5p.m. at the Sheriff’s Moses Lake Substation, 1274 Lowry Street.
The course is free and no registration is required. All materials and testing supplies are provided.
This boater education card is required to operate motor vessels and personal watercraft with 15 horsepower or more.
The minimum age to obtain the Boater Education Card is 12 years old.
Those born before January 1, 1955 are exempt from the Boater Education Card requirement.
