Press Release: Cocaine and Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

ACCUSED: Alyssa D. Beider age 28 Lakewood, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On 5/12/15 at approximately 2:30 am, Ptl. Steven walker observed a 2010 Toyota SUV being operated erratically on State Highway 66. A motor vehicle stop was initiated by Ptl. Walker on SH 18. He was assisted by Ptl. Christopher Stenger. During the motor vehicle stop it was determined that the driver, Alyssa D. Beider, had three active warrants for her arrest from Wall Township and Asbury Park. After placing Ms. Beider under arrest for the warrants, the officers located drug paraphernalia inside her vehicle. A further investigation revealed that Ms. Beider was also in possession of cocaine.
Alyssa D. Beider was charged with possession of Cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was additionally charged with two motor vehicles summonses for possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and for failure to maintain a lane. Ms. Beider posted bail on all charges and was released pending a future court date.
