Warrant Arrest
Location: The Alameda at Palm Drive
Santa Clara University campus security reported a trespasser on campus whom they were detaining. Upon officer arrival a Records check was conducted which revealed the male suspect had several outstanding warrants totaling $60,000. The suspect was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Failure to Register
Location: 2200 Block of The Alameda
An officer was dispatched to a motel on the 2200 block of The Alameda at the request of a female subject to meet with an officer regarding items located in the motel room. A Records check revealed the subject was a sex registrant who was out of compliance with her registration. The subject was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Driving Under the
Location: Lawrence Expressway and Kifer Road
An officer stopped a male subject for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, the officer noticed objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication. The subject refused to perform the standardized field sobriety tests and opted instead to skip straight to the preliminary alcohol screening test. Based on the results, the driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence.

: Police presence was increased on Cinco de Mayo with saturation patrol to identify impaired drivers. This operation was funded by the Office of Traffic Safety through the Avoid the 13 campaign.

Burglary
Location: 1600 Block of Graham Avenue
An officer responded to the 1600 block of Graham Lane on the report of two suspicious people, one male and one female, casing a home and attempting to enter the residence. The suspects’ description matched that of suspects from a burglary on the 2200 block of El Camino Real that had occurred within an hour of one another. Given the proximity and timing of the two incidents, officers set up a perimeter and located the suspects inside the residence.
As it turns out, the suspects stole a delivery truck from a local business on the 1200 block of Homestead Road. The suspects crashed into a business on the 2200 block of El Camino Real and stole several cameras and watches before fleeing the scene.
Officers recovered the stolen items bearing the businesses’ price tags. Both suspects were arrested and transported to the County jail.

Warrant Arrest – Felony
Location: Westfield Valley Fair parking lot
A 911 caller advised the San Jose Police Department of a male adult in the Westfield Valley Fair parking lot that appeared to be the sexual assault suspect from San Jose (SJPD 15-125-0690).
SCPD responded on the report of a suspicious male adult to the rear of Safeway. The subject was not the suspect in the sexual assault case, however a Records check revealed he had numerous felony warrants with a bail amount of $113,000. The subject was arrested and transported to the Santa Clara County jail.

Residential Burglary
Location: 2200 Block of Los Padres Boulevard
Officers responded to a reported vehicle theft that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that a burglary had also occurred. The unknown suspects took a wallet, two sets of car keys, and two
vehicles. One vehicle was equipped with Lojack. There are no suspects at this time.

Warrant Arrest – Felony
Location: Kiely Bouelvard and Stevens Creek Boulevard
An officer conducted a consensual contact with a male subject at Kiely Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard. A Records check confirmed he had seven warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Santa Clara County jail.
