Dearborn Police Department would like to remind residents to use the Suspicious Activity Phone Line, (313) 943-3030. The Suspicious Activity Phone is available 24 hours a day seven days a week and is directly linked to the Police Dispatch Center. Residents can remain anonymously when calling.
o Report any suspicious people or cars in your neighborhood to the police
o Examples of suspicious activity may include:
Vehicles that do not belong in the area
Vehicles that are observed circling the area
People on foot who are not familiar to you
People who are observed looking into vehicles or attempting to open vehicles
o You know best who does not belong in your neighborhood.
o Remember to lock your vehicle and roll up the windows.
o Keep valuables out of your vehicle.
o The majority of items stolen from vehicles are from unlocked vehicles.
o Notify your friends, family and neighbors of these crime prevention tips and remind them to sign up for NIXLE Alerts.
