Come support the Police Unity Tour tomorrow at Police HQ at noon as they start their 300 mi journey to DC to raise funds for the NLEOMF

Tomorrow the Police Unity Tour will start their annual journey from E. Hanover, NJ to Washington, DC. Some 1,500 police offices on bicycles from communities all over the country will ride past Morris Township Police HQ with the sole purpose of raising funds and awareness for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial in Washington, DC.

This is even more meaningful today as the law enforcement community laid to rest NYPD Det. Brian Moore. The Police Unity Tour’s motto is “We ride for those that died”. Det. Moore joins the more than 19,000 law enforcement officers who as “guardians of the legacy of hope” have paid the ultimate price. Through selfless service they have paid the ultimate sacrifice protecting and serving their communities. The Police Unity Tour raised nearly $2 million last year so that the stories of how these officers lived is not forgotten.

Please join us tomorrow, May 9th at about 12:00 noon at Police HQ as the Police Unity Tour starts their nearly 300 mile journey to Washington, DC. For more information go to www.PoliceUnityTour.com.
