5/1/15

2027 Hours: Officer Jackman handled a Citizen’s arrest/shoplifting case at the NewPark Mall Macy’s store. A 31-year-old female from Fremont was arrested for shoplifting.


5/2/15

0813 Hours: Officer Reyes investigated a theft of a white 1987 Honda Prelude from Joaquin Murieta Dr.

1048 Hours: While working at the Motor Rally Car Show at NewPark Mall, Lieutenant Loth arrested a 36-year-old male from San Jose for a warrant.

1313 Hours: Officer Nobbe handled a Citizen’s arrest/shoplifting case at the NewPark Mall Macy’s store. A 57year-old female from Fremont was arrested for shoplifting.

1323 Hours: Officer Reyes investigated a theft of a white 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe which was left running with the keys in the ignition on Saint Mark Ave.

1517 Hours: Officer Horst handled a Citizen’s arrest/embezzlement case at the NewPark Mall Macy’s store. A 26-year-old male from Fremont was arrested for embezzlement.

1925 Hours: Officer Jackman handled a Citizen’s arrest/shoplifting case at the NewPark Mall JC Penney store. A 34-year-old from Union City was arrested for shoplifting.

1956 Hours: Officers Khairy and Homayoun investigated a domestic violence incident that occurred on Walnut St. A 32-year-old male from Newark was arrested for domestic battery and a 36-year-old female from Newark was arrested for obstructing police and battery on a police officer.


5/3/15

0343 Hours: Officer Khairy handled a solo vehicle roll over collision involving a sleepy driver that occurred on Thornton Ave. near Gateway Blvd. The driver sustained minor injuries during the collision.

1917 Hours: Officer Mavrakis investigated a commercial burglary at on Cabot Ct. Surveillance video showed an older red or maroon colored minivan ramming a chain link fence/gate to gain access to the rear of the business.


5/4/15

0510 Hours: Officers investigated a window smash burglary at Nguyen Vu restaurant on Jarvis Ave.

0655 Hours: Officer Nobbe investigated a theft of a dark blue 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe from Parada St

1236 Hours: Officer Katz arrested a 58-year-old male from Newark for a strong-arm robbery at Newark Square.

1344 Hours: Officer Nobbe investigated a theft of a utility trailer stolen from Dumbarton Court over the weekend.

2147 Hours: Officer Germano investigated an auto burglary on the 5900 block of Mowry Ave.

2313 Hours: During a traffic stop, Officer Kovach arrested a 29-year-old male from Oakland for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


5/5/15

2217 Hours: While checking a vehicle at Sport Field Park, Officer Sandoval arrested a 55-year-old male (transient) for a warrant.

2227 Hours: While checking on an illegally parked vehicle on Cherry St, Officer Kovach arrested a 57-year-old male from Newark for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

0234 Hours: While investigating a disturbance on the 35800 block of Cherry St, Officer Geser arrested 29-year-old male from Newark for violation of a court order.
