Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the names of the two people who died in the vehicle collision on the morning of May 6, 2015 on Highway 121 west of Napa Road, in the unincorporated area of Sonoma County.
The deceased are identified as Fay Steinhart, a 72 year old woman, and Richard Steinhart, a 78 year old man. They are husband and wife from Petaluma, CA. Their family was located and informed of their deaths.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office will schedule a forensic pathologist to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of each persons’ death.
The California Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the vehicle collision. Any inquiries regarding the crash should be directed to that agency.
