Homicide Investigation 
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating Martha Noriega. Noriega is a person of interest in an ongoing homicide investigation.
On March 29, 2015 Nicolas Gomez was shot to death in the 1200 block of Quincy St. in east Bakersfield. On April 28th, video surveillance was released to the public which showed several people running from the scene after the shooting. Noriega was identified as one of the persons depicted in the video. Homicide detectives are attempting to locate her. She is known to frequent the east Bakersfield area.
