04/27/15

0819 Hours: Officer Nobbe investigated an attempted autho theft on Cherry Street near Buena Vista Dr.

1134 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a minor injury collision that occurred on Thornton Ave near Elm St. One motorist was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

1329 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a three vehicle collision that occurred on Mowry Ave near Cherry St. One driver was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

1349 Hours: Officer Johnson arrested a 24 year old male for an outstanding warrant. The suspect was transported to Fremont Jail.

1435 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a hit and run collision that occurred in the Newpark Mall parking.

2337 Hours: Officer Smith investigated two vehicle burglaries on Cedar Blvd.

04/28/15

0656 Hours: Officer Bloom contacted and arrested a 36 year old male for possessing dangerous drugs. The suspect was transported to Santa Rita Jail.

0702 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Thornton Avenue/Newark Boulevard.

1007 Hours: Officer Schwerin arrested a 32 year old male for an outstanding arrest warrant. The suspect was booked at Fremont Jail.

1311 Hours: Community Service Officer Verandes investigated an auto burglary that occurred in the BJ’s restaurant parking lot.

1816 Hours: Officer Geser investigated a burglary from Public Storage.

04/29/15

0914 Hours: Officer Todd contacted and arrested a 56 year old male for an outstanding arrest warrant. During a subsequent search, Officer Todd located a pile of other peoples mail and tax information inside the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

05/01/15

0602 Hours: Officer Simon investigated an auto burglary on Joaquin Murieta Ave.

0722 Hours: Officer Stone investigated the theft of a U-Haul truck for the Comfort Inn parking lot.

0854 Hours: Officer Fredstrom investigated an auto burglary on Cherry St, near Buena Vista.

0947 Hours: Officers responded to a disturbance at the Residence Inn, located at 35468 Dumbarton Ct. Officer Todd arrested a 36 year old female for identity theft, possessing bacnk access card information, and giving false identification to an officer. The suspect was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

1012 Hours: Officer Johnson located an unoccupied stolen vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Comfort Inn, located at 5977 Mowry Ave. The vehicle, a 1997 Honda Civic was reported stolen out of Hayward.

1323 Hours: Officer Norvell investigated the theft of a rear license plate from a Toyota Tundra. The plate (#8M9082) was taken overnight.
