Police Search for Suspects in Recent Crimes

The Los Banos Police Department is asking anyone with information about a series of crimes to come forward and speak with Police Detectives.

On April 25, 2015 at approximately 12:01 a.m., the Los Banos Police Department received a report of a robbery from the 2500 Block of Snowgoose Drive. Two male victims, ages 43 and 36, reported they were robbed by three males who displayed firearms while they were at the park on Snowgoose Drive. During the robbery, the victims were able to determine the suspects were using imitation firearms. One of the victims was able to wrestle one of the suspects to the ground, however the other two suspects began to assault him. The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a burgundy mid-sized SUV. The suspects were described as three males, wearing dark colored hooded sweaters and masks. The victims suffered only minor injuries during the robbery.

On April 25, 2015 at approximately 2:50 a.m., the Los Banos Police Department responded to the 1300 Block of Chamberlain Avenue regarding a report of shots fired. When Officers arrived they located a 23-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. Officers learned the victim was with friends in their garage when approximately three males approached, one armed with a firearm, demanding the victims property. After the robbery was complete, the victim confronted one of the suspects and was shot. The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction and the victim was air-lifted to a Modesto area hospital in stable condition.

On April 28, 2015 at approximately 3:18 a.m., the Los Banos Police Department responded to the 600 Block of Pacheco Boulevard regarding a robbery. When Officers arrived they contacted a 19-year-old victim who reported he was assaulted by a male and robbed of his property. The victim reportedly could not provide a description of the suspect and indicated the suspect robbed him of his wallet after the assault. The victim suffered minor injuries during the incident and refused medical care.
