**UPDATE**NICOR to release gas from gas main this am near S Ridgefield Rd/14 Odor of natural gas may be in the area.

NICOR has advised they are continiung to work on the gas main near S. Ridgefield Rd and Route 14 this morning. There may be the smell of natural gas in the area for an undertmined amount of time.
**UPDATE** 1:37pm This will be occuring at S. Ridgefield Rd and Route 14.
NICOR has advised they are working on a gas main near S. Ridgefield Rd. They will be releasing the remaining gas in the main line this afternoon between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. They will be using a masking agent in an attempt to alleviate the odor but there still may be a smell of natural gas in the area.
