Full Notification

Ventura County Sheriff's Dispatch received information of a possible threat toward Moorpark High School that needed additional investigation. As a precautionary measure the school was locked down for the Moorpark Police to investigate the information.

After a very short lockdown the Moorpark Police were able to establish the information as a non-threat and the school was taken out of lockdown.

School is secure and classes have resumed as normal.
