4/23/15


1218 Hours: During a pedestrian stop at Cedar Blvd and Joaquin Murieta Ave, Officer Musantry arrested a 34-year-old male from Hayward for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

1908 Hours: Officer Jackman investigated an auto burglary (window smash) in front of Harbor Freight.

2140 Hours: Officer Geser investigated a solo bicyclist collision on Scarborough Dr. and Edgewater Dr. The juvenile male was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

2212 Hours: Officer Saunders investigated a collision involving two vehicles on Cherry Street/Jasmine Avenue.


4/24/15

0017 Hours: During a pedestrian stop at Cedar Blvd and Thornton Ave, Sgt. Higbee arrested a 35-year-old male from Newark for public intoxication.

1544 Hours: Officer Fredstrom investigated a report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 6000 block of Joaquin Murieta Ave.

1828 Hours: During a warrant service at a residence on Sussex Place, Officer Musantry arrested a 32-year-old female from Newark.

2349 Hours: During a pedestrian stop near O’Sullivan’s bar, Officer Losier arrested a 24-year-old male from Fremont for public intoxication.


4/25/15

1255 Hours: Officer Nobbe investigated a burglary at LensCrafters Eyexam of California located inside Newpark Mall.

2117 Hours: During a probation search at the E-Z-8 Motel, Officers Musantry and Losier arrested a 32-year-old female from Union City for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.


4/26/15

1319 Hours: Officer Reyes handled a Citizen’s arrest/shoplifting case at the Newpark Mall Macy’s. A 56-year-old female from Fremont was arrested for shoplifting and possession of burglary tools.

1718 Hours: Officer Neithercutt investigated a hit and run collision where multiple vehicles on Graham Ave near Sycamore St. were damaged. Officer Nobbe followed a fluid trail and located suspect and suspect vehicle parked in the garage on the 37100 block Magnolia St. A 28-year-old male from Newark was arrested for DUI and hit & run.
