#005 Driving without a License
At approximately 8:30 a.m., Officer O’Neal was working traffic enforcement near Starfire Circle and Marietta Dr. He stopped a vehicle and arrested/cited the 38 year old adult male driver for having a suspended license.
#014 Residential Burglary
At 11:30 a.m., Officers were called to the 36400 block of Perkins Street. The reporting party found their front window broken and two suspects inside the home. When confronted, the suspects fled in their vehicle, which was described as a late 1990’s silver Acura CL 2-door. The suspects were described as:
Suspect #1 - Hispanic or Black male adult, 5'10", 170-190 lbs, chubby with a round face, last seen wearing a green and white striped shirt, dark pants.
Suspect #2 - 2 Black male adult, 6'0", 180 lbs, full beard, last seen wearing a black beanie, a dark t-shirt and dark pants.
#042 Unlawful Display of Registration Tabs
Officer L. Kennedy stopped a 47 year old adult male Fremont resident near Deep Creek and Alvarado Blvd and cited him for false registration tabs.
#021 Shoplifting
At approximately 2:40 p.m., Officer Catassi was detailed to the Warm Springs Safeway regarding two males who stole about $600 worth of steak and an unknown amount of frozen shrimp. The suspects were described as:
Suspect # 1 - Asian male, late 20's, approximately 5'9", approximately 180lbs, clean shaven with black spiked hair and last seen wearing a white t-shirt
Suspect # 2 - Asian male, late 20's to early 30's, approximately 5'9, approximately 180lbs, short dark hair and last seen wearing a blue t-shirt. They fled in a green sedan.
#031 Assault with a Deadly Weapon
At approximately 6:00 p.m., Officer Stillitano was detailed to McDonald’s on Grimmer Blvd on the report of an in-progress battery involving more than 10 subjects. The caller stated that a transient subject was involved in an altercation with a group of young men. The suspect apparently struck one of the men, a 31 year old San Francisco resident, with a 6’ long plastic garden stick. After the male was struck several times, the group came to their friend’s defense and the suspect fled. The male sustained minor injuries that did required medical treatment. Officers checked the area, but the suspect was not located. Officers are following up on a possible suspect.
#032 Public Intoxication
Officer Haugh was detailed to the area of Lucky’s on Mowry Ave. A drunk subject was verbally harassing customers and at one point was challenging an ambulance attendant to fight. Officer Haugh located the adult male in the area and detained him. The male was arrested for public drunkenness with no other charges.
#038 Assault with a Deadly Weapon
At approximately 8:10 p.m., Officer Lobue was detailed to Stevenson Tire on Mowry Ave. to take a battery report. The caller stated that a subject, later identified as a 39 year old adult male, Fremont transient, was inside the business throwing chairs at the shop owner. FPD units arrived and detained the male who was arrested for the assault. FFD and ambulance responded to the scene and provided medical care to the victim who sustained minor injuries during the altercation.
#039 DUI Collision
At approximately 8:50 p.m., Officer A. Liu was detailed to the area of Durham Rd. and Paseo Padre regarding a collision. Upon arriving, he learned that one of the drivers involved had been driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. The adult male driver was arrested for DUI.
#044 Under the Influence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Officer Bordy and FTO Macciola contacted a 45 year old adult male probationer near School Street and Bodily and arrested him for CNS stimulant influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
#009 DUI
While looking for an unrelated hit and run suspect near Mowry/Paseo Padre, Officer L. Kennedy encountered a driver slumped behind the wheel of his running car. The 27 year old adult male, Redwood City resident, was found to be impaired and was arrested for DUI.

#024 Shoplifting Arrest
Raley’s store security arrested a 46 year old adult male, Fremont transient for theft. The adult male was also in violation of a stay away order. Officer Hollifield booked the adult male at Santa Rita.
#028 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 10:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance call on the 4200 block of Eugene Street. As officers responded they located one of the involved parties on the corner of Davis Street and Eugene Street. The 61 year old adult male was arrested for public intoxication and booked at Santa Rita Jail.
#031 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 9:37 p.m., officers were dispatched to a disturbance on the 39000 block of Argonaut Way. The reporting party stated that a subject, later identified as a 52 year old adult male transient, was bothering customers and banging on the business windows. Officers arrived and witnessed the behavior and asked the male if they could speak with him. He complied but answered every question with a response of profanity and aggressively yelled at the officers. After taking the male into custody for public intoxication, he began to throw his legs backwards in an attempt to kick officers. He then spit on one of the officers. Additional officers were requested to the scene and a WRAP was used for everyone’s safety. The 52 year old adult male was transported to Santa Rita Jail where he was booked.
#030 Missing Person at Risk. – Nixle Messages were issued.
#005 Warrant Arrests
At 4:16 a.m., Officer Roberts made a pedestrian stop on a 33 year old adult male, Fremont transient, in the area of Mowry and Blacow. The male was arrested for numerous warrants for drugs, theft and trespassing.

#019 Warrant Service
Officer Amy Boyd took a team of officers to the 3300 block of Owen Common to serve an arrest warrant for a 22 year old adult male. The adult male had several warrants out of San Jose. The officers set up a perimeter on the residence. When Officers Boyd, Little, and Contrada made contact at the front door, the male attempted to flee out the back of the residence through a second story window. When he landed on the ground, Officers Ehling and Francisco were there and they took him into custody.
#024 Warrant Arrest
At 7:30 p.m., Officer Hollifield conducted a traffic stop in the area of Glenview Drive and Mowry Ave and arrested a 29 year old adult male for his outstanding warrants.
#021 Suspicious Circumstances
At 4:28 p.m., a male called 911 and reported that he was being chased by a male with a machete near Arrowhead Liquors. Officers responded to the area and did not locate the victim or suspect and citizens in the area reported not seeing anything. After checking the area officers located the involved parties in front of The Spot Bar on the Union City side of the border. All of the involved parties knew each other and the original caller was less than cooperative and stated that there was no machete involved. No crime was established and none of the involved parties desired any further police action. Investigated by Officer Stinson.
#025 Under the Influence Arrest
At 8:10 p.m., a resident on W. Pickering called 911 and reported that a male entered their back yard and said he was being chased by a female with a knife. Officers arrived on scene and located a 44 year old adult male in the backyard. The male was acting paranoid and appeared to be under the influence. Neither the reporting party or any neighbors saw a female with the male during the incident and that part of the call was unfounded. The male went to jail for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Case investigated by Officer Oliveira.
#026 Warrant Arrest
Officer Loughery was dispatched to a suspicious male in the area of Stevenson Blvd. and Civic Center Dr. and arrested a 52 year old adult male, Fort Collins, Colorado resident, for an outstanding warrant.
#028 Unlicensed Driver and Possession of a Controlled Substance Arrest
At approximately 9:50 p.m., Officer Perry made a vehicle stop in the area of Fremont and Mission View. Perry contacted the driver, a 53 year old adult male, San Jose resident, who was unlicensed and on parole. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a methamphetamine pipe. The male was arrested driving while unlicensed and wrong display of license plates. The passenger, a 32 year old adult male, Hughson resident, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
