Cmunity Volunteer Service Day: Carson Station is Recipient of Beautification and Water Conservation Project. 
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Carson Station,
21356 S. Avalon Boulevard, Carson, is the proud recipient of a volunteer beautification and water conservation project. The City of Carson Community Service Program has coordinated community members to volunteer their services today, Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 8:00 AM to remove approximately 8,000 square feet of turf, to beautify the front of the sheriff’s station with drought tolerant landscaping.
The labor for this beautification project has been donated by the community members participating in the city’s Community Volunteer Service Day, and the new drought tolerant plants and landscaping materials were made possible through a collaborative effort by the City of Carson, MB Landscaping and Nursery, Watson Land Management, and the Carson Sheriff Station Support Foundation.
