The March of Dimes walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 with a start time of 9:00am. This walk has around 2,000 participants registered for the event and will start rain or shine. Attached is a map of the walk route. This walk will close several major streets around the Marietta Square and towards Kennestone Hospital for at least an hour. Heavy traffic delays are expected because of the temporary road closures. A couple of neighborhoods will be affected as well. We are asking for all motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes during the event.
