School Burglary – 1650 S. Bernardo
Time: 4/13 1500 – 4/14 0645
Unknown suspect entered Cupertino Middle School by prying open a door and stole cash.
Aggravated Assault – 160 W. Persian
Time: 2356
Two patrons of the Brass Rail became involved in a fight in the parking lot. The suspect repeatedly punched the victim in the head and the victim was transported to the hospital. The suspect was arrested and booked into County Jail.
Wednesday April 15
Residential Burglary – 600 Blk. Sheraton
Time: 4/12 0930 – 4/15 2030
Unknown suspect entered the residence through a rear door and ransacked the residence. It was unknown what was taken at the time of the report.
Thursday April 16
Felony Vandalism/Trespassing – 1050 Enterprise
Time: 0940
Employees reported a former employee was at the business throwing things around the office and destroying things. Officers located the suspect locked in an office and were able to talk him into surrendering. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into County Jail.
Apartment Fire – 1063 Morse
Time: 1211
DPS personnel responded on a report of a second story apartment fire. Upon arrival, smoke was seen coming from the apartment. Personnel entered the apartment and discovered the fire had been extinguished by the sprinkler system. Crews determined the fire did not spread to adjoining apartments.
Friday April 17
Residential Burglary – 700 Blk. Inverness
Time: 2130
Officers responded on a report of a burglary alarm. Upon arrival officers discovered a rear sliding glass door had been broken. Due to the resident being away on vacation it was unknown what, if anything, was stolen.
Residential Burglary – 900 Blk. E. El Camino
Time: 0530 - 1815
Unknown suspect entered two separate apartments by cutting open a window screen and entering through an open window. The suspect stole jewelry.
Residential Burglary – 1000 Blk. Gaviota Ter.
Time: 4/16 0300 – 4/17 1200
Unknown suspect entered the garage of the townhouse through an open door and stole tools and a wallet from the car parked in the garage.
Residential Burglary – 1000 Blk. Bryant
Time: 0915 - 2000
Unknown suspect entered an apartment by prying open a sliding glass door and stole cash and jewelry.
Sunday April 19
Structure Fire – 1300 Blk. Los Arboles
Time: 0243
DPS personnel responded on a report of a structure fire. A plastic storage bin caught fire and the fire extended up the side of the residence and into the attic. The residence was equipped with a sprinkler system in the attic which contained the spread of the fire. The fire was extinguished by personnel and did not extend beyond the attic.
