BHS National Honor Society holding a 10K walk-a-thon for St. Jude Children's Hospital Friday April 24th. Traffic congestion expected. 
On Friday, April 24th the Beecher High School National Honor Society will be holding a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Hospital, a walk-a-thon. The walk will begin at 12:40 p.m. and end at about 2:30 p.m. The walk will be a distance of 10 Kilometers (6.2 miles) and will be utilizing the 5K loop that will be walked twice. The loop encompasses the central part of town, so please be careful of walkers and slowed traffic. The main roads used for the walk will be Penfield; Miller; Oak Park; Catalpa; Chestnut; Willow; Reed and Gould Streets.
