This past week in Zone 8 (East), the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:

An assault with a deadly weapon occurred near the 27600 block of Nugget Dr., Canyon Country.  The suspect pulled a knife on the victim inside the location after an argument.  The suspect left the location on foot in an unknown direction. This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives. 

A residential burglary occurred near the 26800 block of Claudette St., Canyon Country.  Suspect(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s garage and subsequently forced entry into the victim’s locked vehicle parked inside.  The suspect(s) stole the victim’s vehicle registration along with numerous personal items. This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A commercial burglary occurred near the 15500 block of Sierra Hwy., Canyon Country.  Suspect(s) unknown forced entry into the location by smashing a side, rear window.  U.S. currency was stolen from the cash register. This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A grand theft occurred near Hwy 14 and Golden Valley Rd., Canyon Country.  Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle from the parking lot.  This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A grand theft occurred near the 18000 block of Annes Cir., Canyon Country.   The victim’s boyfriend stole the victim’s locked vehicle, parked in front of the location.  This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A grand theft occurred near Jakes Way and Palo Verde Dr., Canyon Country.  Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle, parked in front of the location.  This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A grand theft occurred near the 28100 block of Sand Cyn Rd., Canyon Country.  Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle parked in the driveway of the location.  This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A shoplifting occurred at a business near the 19000 block of Golden Valley Rd., Canyon Country.  Loss prevention reviewed store surveillance footage and observed an unknown suspect select store merchandise.  After doing so the suspect left the store without paying for the merchandise. This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A shoplifting occurred at a business near the 19300 block of Golden Valley Rd., Canyon Country.   One suspect was detained by loss prevention and a good Samaritan after concealing store merchandise into his personal bag and running from the store.  This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A petty theft occurred near the 21500 block of Sand Cyn Rd., Canyon Country.  Suspect(s) unknown stole fuel from the victim’s vehicle while parked at the location.  This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A petty theft occurred at a business near the 19100 block of Golden Valley Rd., Canyon Country Suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle after she parked it in the store parking lot and went shopping.  Miscellaneous clothing items were stolen from inside the trunk of the vehicle.   This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.

A petty theft occurred from a business near the 18600 block of Via Princessa, Canyon Country.  Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s cellular phone from an unlocked storage locker as he used the restroom.   This incident is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives.
