DATE/TIME: April, 20, 2015 at approximately 3:00 p.m.
INCIDENT: Conspiracy to Commit Murder
LOCATION: Los Osos High School
SUSPECTS: #1-14 year old male juvenile
#2-14 year old female juvenile
Both are Students at Los Osos High School
Over the last several days, School Resource Officer, Deputy Young has been investigating possible threats at Los Osos High School. Deputy Young spoke to a total of 27 students and 2 faculty members regarding rumors of a possible shooting on the school campus. All students interviewed continued to point their fingers at each other, stating they heard it from the other one. Deputy Young was able to narrow it down to the two students who originated the rumors. One of the two students claimed to be a victim of the possible threat.
While Deputy Young was consensually looking through one of the students’ phone, she located evidence regarding how the rumors got started. On April 20, 2015, Deputy Young confronted the male student about the texting and spreading of rumors and detained him for further questioning. The female was not in school and was brought into the Rancho Cucamonga Station to be interviewed by Deputy Young. Both juveniles were then arrested and booked into San Bernardino Juvenile Hall for conspiracy to commit murder.
