#014 Under the Influence Arrest

At 7:52 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of a male (43 years old/Fremont) who appeared to be under the influence/drugs near Baskin Robbins on Mowry Ave.  The male was punching a large palm tree in the shopping center and was seen running and jumping around uncontrollably.  Officers responded to the area and after a brief struggle, the male was taken into custody.  Following a medical clearance at WTH he was booked into jail for being under the influence of a controlled substance.  

 

#028 Driving on a Suspended License

At 11:05 p.m., Officer Piol conducted a traffic stop near Central/Logan.  Officer Piol contacted the female driver (47 years old/Newark) who was found to be driving on a suspended license.  The female was issued a citation and released.

 

#029 Driving on a Suspended License

At 11:36 p.m., Officer Hartman conducted a traffic stop near Logan/Mowry.  Officer Hartman contacted the male driver (40 years old/Fremont) who was found to be driving on a suspended license.  The male was issued a citation and released.

#017 Under the Influence Arrest

At 1:05 p.m., K9 Officer Layfield conducted a pedestrian stop near the 41000 block of Lincoln St.  K9 Officer Layfield determined the male (33 years old/Fremont) was under the influence and arrested him.  

 

#022 Warrant Arrest

At 3:53 p.m, FTO Boyd and Officer San Luis stopped a male (54 years old/Fremont)for a moving violation on his bicycle on the 38800 Block of Paseo Padre Parkway.  The male had a warrant and was arrested.

 

#026 Unlicensed Driver

At 5:00 p.m., Officer conducted a vehicle stop near Hansen/Dusterberry.  Officer Stinson contacted the male driver (43 years old/Hayward) who was found to be unlicensed.  The male was issued a citation and released.

 

#001 Warrant Arrest

At 1:03 a.m., Officer Meredith stopped a male (56 years old/San Jose) in the 3900 block of Washington Blvd.  The male had an outstanding warrant and was arrested.

 

#005 Driving Under the Influence Arrest

At 4:26 a.m., Officer Hartman conducted a traffic stop near Fremont/Thornton.  Officer Hartman contacted the male driver (25 years old/Fremont) and later arrested him for driving under the influence.

#017 Warrant Arrest / Possession of Paraphernalia

Officer Harvey attempted to make a pedestrian stop on a male (46 years old/Fremont) and the male fled.  Officer Harvey caught the male after a short foot chase.  The male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and for five outstanding warrants.

 

#025 Residential Burglary

Between 04/07/15 and 04/09/15 an unknown suspect(s), entered the rear garage without permission and removed items from inside a residence on the 37000 block of Second St.  The loss was camping equipment.

 

#001 Petty Theft from Vehicle

Officers responded at 12:04 a.m., to an auto burglary call on the 41300 block of Roberts Ave.  The caller stated that two subjects had just stolen some items from a vehicle.  It was later determined the victim couldn’t identify the suspects.
