The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center in Norman OK has issued a Tornado Watch for North & Central GA including Clayton County.
A Tornado "Watch" means conditions are favorable for the formation of tornadoes. Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon and evening. High winds and hail are possible with these storms.
Please stay "weather aware" by listening to your NOAA weather radio, local tv and/or radio broadcast for the most up to date information on the storm system.
Public Safety please exercise caution as you travel this afternoon and into the evening. Please report any incidents to 911 as soon as it is safe to do so.
