Good afternoon,
In addition to the wire down across Route One, there is now a diesel fuel spill on North Oaks Boulevard, from Route One to Livingston Avenue. This is in the same vicinity as the downed wires. The Police and Fire Departments are on scene, along with the Middlesex County Hazardous Materials Unit. We do have a time frame on either of the incidents clearing up. We will update as soon as more information becomes available.
Route One northbound is still closed, and traffic remains heavy throughout the Township.
