THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SERVERE WEATHER ALERT FOR CLAYTON CO. CLICK FOR INFO. SHERIFF HILL 
The National Weather Service has issued the following weather alerts for several areas in the Metro Atlanta area including Clayton County.
Two rounds of potential strong to severe weather...each accompanied by heavy rain with minor flooding concerns.
Round 1: Sunday Afternoon. Strong winds and hail are the primary concerns.
Strong to isolated severe storms will develop Sunday afternoon with the heating of the day from Gainesville to the southeast metro to Macon... spreading northeastward.
​Round 2: Monday. Strong winds are the primary concern but cannot rule out an isolated tornado.
Expecting activity to develop ahead of the actual cold front and push through Northern zones late Sunday night through Monday.
