Medication Disposal Box in Harvey Cedars

We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Project Medicine Drop initiative. This program gives the public an opportunity to bring their unused, unwanted and expired prescription or over-the-counter medication to the Harvey Cedars Borough Hall to be disposed into a drug collection box. The public, not just residents of Harvey Cedars, are invited to deposit their unused or expired household medication into the drop box 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, anonymously and with no questions asked.  We will accept all types of medication except syringes and liquids. This opportunity prevents unused medication from falling into the hands of those who might abuse them and it keeps them from being flushed into the water supply.

This drug collection box was made possible through a grant and partnership from CVS/Caremark.
