Residential Burglary

Shortly after 2:30 AM a cab driver dropped off an intoxicated female fare in the 900 block of Peach. He watched her to make sure she got home. An unidentified male unknown to the female came up to her outside and walked her into her residence, closing the door behind them. The cab driver then heard the female scream. The cab driver ran to the door and began pounding on it. The suspect was briefly face to face with the cab driver then fled the area. The suspect was described as a WMA, 5-10, possibly “mute” and wearing a “CHP” logo ball cap. It does not appear the female was assaulted.

A little over an hour later a resident in the 100 block of Verde found a male in his home. The male was described as wearing a “CHP” logo hat. The suspect was further described as tall white male adult with a large build. He had red or brown curly hair was wearing a baseball cap with a CHP logo. He was wearing an orange zip up jacket and tan or beige corduroy pants. The suspect drove away in a light colored sedan. Cases 150418024 and 150418019
