Jackson Police Department's Employee of the Month

Officer Robert Heathcock Employee of the Month for the Month of April. Officer Heathcock is assigned as the School Resource Officer at Tigrett Middle School. He has seven years of service with the Jackson Police Department.
Officer Heathcock is a former police officer in Selmer, TN and served 17 years in McNairy County, TN. He has been Mayor of Finger, TN for 12 years. This is a voluntary position and he receives no pay.
He helps raise money for a kid's softball league so that it will be free to the athletes. There are 10-12 teams that participate and everything is furnished. He hosts the Fallen Officer Memorial Ride yearly for the Captain Dennis Cagle Memorial Fund.
Officer Heathcock is a hunter safety instructor and fitness instructor at No Xcuses Workout Center in Henderson, TN. He leads a men's bicycle club and has a part-time taxidermy business.
Robert is married and they have three children and three grandchildren.
