THIRD "UPDATE" I-94 EB at the 21 MM All Lanes Blocked 
"ADVISORY" All lanes EB on I-94 at the 21 MM are closed at this time due to a semi loosing their load. Unknown how long it will be closed. Request you seek alternate routes of travel.
"UPDATE" I-94 EB at the 21 MM (that is one mile west of the 22 MM/exit) in Porter County has one lane open at this time. Traffic is moving very slowly with emergency workers still at the scene. INDOT is waiting for a crew to remove the overhead information sign that was damaged due to the crash. Try and seek alternate routes of travel
It is unknown at this time how long the interstate will be restricted. When the crew arrives to disassemble the overhead sign, the interstate will be shutdown again.
SECOND "UPDATE" One lane of I-94 EB and WB at the 21 MM will be opened while removal of the overhead sign is in progress. This should take approximately three hours to complete. Emergency workers are on site now so be cautious while traveling in the area. Seek alternate routes of travel if possible.
THIRD "UPDATE" All lanes EB are now open. Still only one lane open WB.
