Ronald Richards, of Nebo, charged with having inappropriate sexual contact with 12-year-old 
Detective Lynn Greene of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Ronald Edward Richards, 60, of North Sunny Grove Road in Nebo, with one felony count of taking indecent liberties with a child.
Greene said Richards is acquainted with the 12-year-old female victim. The crime allegedly occurred Monday, April 13.
The girl’s parents notified the Sheriff’s Office.
