4/10/15


1305 Hours: During a probation search on Amador Pl, a 39-year-old male from Newark was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

1506 Hours: During a pedestrian stop on Ezra Dr, Officer Bloom arrested a 19-year-old male from Newark for possession of burglary tools, providing a false name to police, a warrant and probation violation.

1451 Hours: Officer Musantry investigated vandalism to property on Colbert St. A caustic chemical had been placed on the victim’s front lawn.

1643 Hours: Officer Hogan investigated a non-injury collision on Thornton Ave and Gateway Blvd which caused E/B traffic issues.

1737 Hours: Officer Hogan investigated a non-injury solo vehicle collision on Haley St and Tosier St. A 35-year-old female from Oakland was arrested for no driver’s license.

2337 Hours: During a traffic stop on Thornton Ave, Officer Losier arrested a 46-year-old male from East Palo Alto for warrants.


4/11/15

0141 Hours: Officers Slater and Homayoun investigated three vandalism cases that occurred on Buena Vista Dr where car windows were possible shot out with a BB gun.

0917 Hours: While executing a search warrant on Ravenwood Ave, Officer Reyes arrested a 53-year-old male from Newark for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance for sales.

During the search warrant a stolen vehicle pulled up to the residence. A 58-year-old male from Newark was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. A 45-year-old female from Fremont was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and a 36-year-old male from Newark was arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle.


4/12/15

0055 Hours: During a traffic stop near the Courtyard Hotel, Officer Musantry arrested a 22-year-old male from Brentwood for DUI.

0730 Hours: Officer Neithercutt responded to Cedar Bl on a domestic disturbance. A 47-year-old male from Newark was arrested for domestic battery.

0937 Hours: Officers responded to the 37400 block of Cherry St on a report of vandalism. A 54-year-old female from Newark was placed under citizen’s arrest for vandalism.

1408 Hours: A 61-year-old female from Fremont was placed under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting at JC Penney.

1854 Hours: A 36-year-old female from Fremont was placed under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting at JC Penney.


4/13/15

1622 Hours: During a pedestrian stop on Cedar Bl, Officer Johnson arrested a 26-year-old female from Union City for a warrant.

1658 Hours: Officers investigated an auto burglary to the rear of the Hilton Hotel.


4/14/15

0829 Hours: Officer Schwerin investigated an auto burglary on Buena Vista Drive.

0950 Hours: Officer Bloom arrested a 41-year-old male from Newark for warrants and possession of drug paraphernalia behind the old fire station on Thornton Ave.

1153 Hours: During a traffic stop near Newpark Mall, Officer Saunders arrested a 26-year-old male from Oakland for a warrant.

1257 Hours: During a pedestrian stop on Sycamore St, Officer Rodgers arrested a 26-year-old male for possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.

1603 Hours: During a traffic stop on Gateway Bl and Thornton Ave, Officer Schwerin arrested a 24-year-old male from Union City for possession of concentrated cannabis.
