We have experienced a significant increase in car thefts throughout the city. The vehicles being taken are primarily 90's model Honda Accords and Civics. The vehicles are being taken during the late night and early morning hours from neighborhoods throughout the city. Some have been recovered in neighboring jurisdictions.

Please remember to park inside your garage if possible, set car alarms and lock the doors.

The Brentwood Police Department is networking with outside agencies and developing a plan to combat this increase in vehicle theft.
