Commercial Burglary – 800 Blk. W. El Camino
Time: 0240
Unknown suspect entered the business by breaking out the glass front door and stole merchandise.

Vehicle Extrication – Highway 237 & Lawrence
Time: 0830
DPS Fire personnel responded to the area of 237 and Lawrence on a report of an auto accident with a subject trapped in the vehicle. Crews located a vehicle down an embankment wedged between a tree and a fence. Personnel stabilized the vehicle and removed the occupant.

Friday April 10

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Ahwanee & Alturas

The suspect approached the victim, who was working as an ice cream vendor, and attempted to strike him with a hammer. The suspect was located, arrested, and booked into County Jail. The suspect was also placed on a mental health evaluation hold.

Saturday April 11

Armed Robberies – 180 Elm Ct.
Time: 2305
Two armed robberies occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex. An unknown suspect approached the victims, displayed a handgun, and demanded money and jewelry. The suspect fled the area on foot.

Monday April 13

Possession of Drugs for Sale – 600 Blk. Caliente
Time: 2119
An officer contacted a subject in commercial parking lot and determined he was in possession of drugs for sale. The suspect was arrested and a probation search of his residence was conducted where further drugs were located. The suspect was booked into County Jail.

Armed Robbery – 600 Blk. Iris
Time: 2200
While the victim was walking home, he was confronted by two unknown suspects who were armed with a knife. The suspects stole the victim’s wallet and cellphone and fled on foot.
