Suspect Steals Vehicle and Attempts To Run Over Owner 
On April 12, 2015 at 5:59 pm, a resident in the 500 block of Center Street noticed an unknown man (suspect) inside of his van. The victim walked towards his vehicle to confront the suspect. As he approached the front of his van, the suspect quickly accelerated towards him in an attempt to run him over. The victim jumped towards the middle of the street to avoid being struck. The suspect was last seen driving away near Center Street / Imperial Avenue.
The suspect is described as a white male adult in his 40’s with long blonde hair.
The stolen vehicle is a white 2002 Ford Econoline van.
