Bloomington Dispatch Supervisor promoted to Regional Dispatch Manager

Bloomington – ISP Superintendent Doug Carter recently announced the promotion of Shift Supervisor Kathryn Haley to Regional Dispatch Center Manager to serve at the Bloomington Regional Dispatch Center.

Haley’s primary responsibilities will be to provide management of Bloomington’s Regional Dispatch Center to include dispatch personnel, systems and other resources to ensure the Center functions at peak efficiency and accuracy. She will also be responsible for ensuring officer and public safety, utilizing the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, Records Management System (RMS), Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL), Geographical Information System (GIS) and other Regional Dispatch Center resources.

The Bloomington Regional Dispatch Center currently serves the Putnamville, Jasper, Evansville and Bloomington Districts.

Originally from Spencer, Haley graduated from Owen Valley High School in 1977. She attended Vincennes University and was hired by the Indiana State Police as a dispatcher in 2005.

Kathryn is married to Todd Haley of MacAllister Caterpillar and they reside in Morgan County. Kathryn has three sons, two of which are Purdue Graduates and one who is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. She also has a daughter who will graduate from nursing school in May. Kathryn also has four grandchildren.
