Synopsis: Fifteen transients were gathered at 5000 Newport Ave. A group of males left a bar and were walking past the group that was gathered. One of the males from the bar made comments about them getting jobs. An argument started between the groups. A 20 year old Hispanic male suspect stabbed a 31 year old male victim in the left cheek and stabbed a 29 year old male victim in the right upper torso. The victims were transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene and a short time later was taken into custody. The knife was recovered. San Diego Police Western Division Detectives are investigating.
