Attempted Kidnapping 
The Coronado Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who attempted to get two children into his vehicle this morning. The incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. in the 500 block of C Avenue.
A 9 year-old girl was walking with her 2 year-old sibling near their home when a man driving a white mini-van drove past them. The older child then noticed that the mini-van made a u-turn and drove back towards them. With the driver's side window rolled down, the man yelled "get in the car." The child then picked up her sibling and began screaming as she ran back towards their home. The vehicle was last seen driving northbound on C Avenue.
The suspect is described as an Asian male adult with dark hair. He was driving a white older model mini-van.
