Synopsis: A 65 year old female was walking northbound in the 13400 block of Salmon River Road. At the intersection of Paseo Montalban she crossed the street using the crosswalk. A 2000 Lexus driven by a 70 year old male was traveling southbound on Salmon River Road. He made a left turn onto Paseo Montalban and struck the female. The female sustained a fractured pelvis, fractured left knee and a fractured spine. The female was transported to a local hospital. Alcohol was not a factor. Traffic Division is investigating.
