4/7/15

0755 Hours: Officer Bloom investigated a commercial burglary on the 5900 block of Mowry Ave.

1451 Hours: Officers responded to the area of O’Reilly’s automotive store on Newark Blvd on a report of an intoxicated male yelling and walking around with a beer in his hand. Det. Warren arrested a 33-year-old male from Newark for possession of a controlled substance.

1544 Hours: Officer Rodgers investigated an attempted burglary at Cigarette World (5841 Jarvis Avenue).


4/8/15

0737 Hours: During a warrant service on Woodruff Dr, a 25-year-old male was arrested for three warrants.

1245 Hours: Officer Todd responded to Big Lots, 5453 Thornton Ave. to investigate a disturbance. A 33-year-old male from Newark was arrested for petty theft.

2248 Hours: Officer Kovach investigated a suspicious vehicle parked on La Salle Dr with two occupants. A 45-year-old male from Hayward was arrested for providing a false name, possession of burglary tools and a warrant. A 25-year-old male from San Leandro was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

4/9/15

0122 Hours: Officer Taylor responded to the EZ8 Motel for a disturbance call. A 23-year-old male from Hayward was arrested for felony domestic battery, false imprisonment, and disabling the telephone line.

0618 Hours: CSO Verandes investigated an auto burglary on Balentine Dr.

0743 Hours: Officer Todd investigated a residential ransack burglary on Dupont Ave.

0834 Hours: Officer Knutson investigated a theft from a vehicle on Amador Pl.

0903 Hours: Officers responded to a Domestic Disturbance on the 37300 block of Cherry St. Officer Fredstrom arrested a 58-year-old female from Oakland for being under the influence of a controlled substance, obstructing officers, and probation violation.

0959 Hours: Officer Bloom investigated a theft of gasoline on Dumbarton Ct.

1242 Hours: Officer Hogan investigated an injury collision involving several vehicles on Thornton Ave. and Gateway Blvd. The roadway was shut down while the collision was investigated. One subject was transported to a trauma center with moderate injuries and another to a local hospital with minor injuries.

1419 Hours: Officer Stone investigated vandalism to a vehicle that occurred overnight on the 36600 block of Cedar Bl.

1457 Hours: Officer Jackman accepted a Citizen’s Arrest from Macy’s. A 35-year-old female from Fremont was arrested for shoplifting.

1740 Hours: A concerned citizen on Locust St called to report seeing a residence being broken into by three subjects. NPD patrol units responded and three suspects were taken into custody for burglary. The three suspects taken into custody were one 18-year-old male, one 18-year-old female, and one 16-year-old male all from Newark.
