Residential Burglary

On Thursday, 4/9/15, at 5:14 pm, officers responded to the area of Likens Ct. for a report of a possible residential burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers saw the suspect vehicle leaving the area occupied by 4 juveniles who matched the description of the individuals attempting to gain entrance into a residence. Officers made a traffic stop on the vehicle and based on witness statements, positive identification of the juveniles and a check of the residence, officers arrested the juveniles for an attempted residential burglary.

While this incident was occurring, MPD dispatch received a report of two separate residential burglaries that occurred during the day. Property from both previous residential burglaries was located in the suspect vehicle of the Likens Ct. incident.
