Press Release: Robbery Victim Arrested For Out-of-State Felony Warrant 
On Thursday, April 2, 2015, at approximately 9:50p.m., Manhattan Beach Police Department responded to the 600 block of 23rd Street regarding a robbery call. Upon arrival, Officers contacted a male adult, who was bleeding from a wound to his head and stated his cell phone and $500 in cash were taken. The male adult was being assisted by a neighbor.
The investigation revealed, the male adult had contacted a female adult via the website "craigslist" and made arrangements for an encounter, which was sexual in nature. At some point, the male adult was struck by the female's bodyguard and his property was taken. The male adult was not cooperative with police and did not want any investigation into the incident.
However, the officers discovered the male adult was "wanted" in Oregon and had a no bail warrant for his arrest (Larceny), which included extradition.
After seeking medical treatment, the male adult was arrested and transported to the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
