Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. reports that deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a personal injury traffic crash on M62 near Davis Lake St. in Cass County's Jefferson Township. This crash occurred on 4-7-15 at 3:20pm. The investigation showed that a Chevy Tracker, driven by Joshua Shults (30 yrs of Cassopolis, MI) lost control on the wet roadway and crossed the centerline. Shults' vehicle spun into the path of a 2015 GMC Denali pick-up driven by John Raab (66 yrs of Edwardsburg). Both vehicles left the roadway after crashing. Shults was injured in the crash and was transported to St. Joe Med Center by LifeCare Ambulance. Raab wasn't injured. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and alcohol wasn't a factor in the crash. Assisting on scene were LifeCare Ambulance and Edwardsburg Fire Dept.
