On February 5, 2015, the Los Banos Police Department began an investigation into the fraudulent use of a credit card stolen from a business in the 300 Block of Johnson Road. The company reported the theft after discovering unauthorized charges on their business account.
During the investigation, Detectives identified 21-year-old Jessica Hernandez of Los Banos as the suspect who was unlawfully using the stolen credit card to make personal purchases. Detectives learned that Hernandez was in a dating relationship with 34-year-old Raymond Nolasco of Los Banos, who had recently been terminated from the victim’s business.
On April 2, 2015, Detectives served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence in the 600 Block of Tusky Avenue, where Nolasco was arrested. During the search, Detectives located additional unreported stolen property which was identified by the business employees. During the time of the search, Hernandez was already in custody regarding an unrelated stolen vehicle case.
Nolasco was booked into the Los Banos Police Department charged with theft, grand theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, and receiving stolen property. Hernandez was charged with forgery regarding this incident. Both suspects have posted bail and are no longer in custody.
