March 15, 2015, Elizabeth Magness was found dead of a gunshot wound inside her Okemah home at 814 North 4th Street. Her husband found her at approximately noon and called police. The Okemah Police Department requested OSBI assistance with the case. Since that date, OSBI agents and other local law enforcement officers have collected information and evidence about what happened to Magness. Days after her death, the medical examiner ruled the 31-year-old woman a homicide victim. Today, the OSBI is posting up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this murder.
