March 31- April 2, 2015



3/31/15

1119 Hours: Officer Taylor investigated an auto burglary at Newpark Mall.

1227 Hours: Officer Rodgers investigated an auto burglary at 24 hour fitness.

1504 Hours: A citizen called to report he found an unknown female sitting in the driver seat of his vehicle at Newpark Mall. Officer Taylor arrested a 29-year-old female from San Jose for being under the influence of a controlled substance.


1801 Hours: While investigating a collision at the intersection of Thornton Ave and Cedar Blvd, Officer Kovach arrested one of involved parties, a 27-year-old male from Fremont for warrants.

0104 Hours: Officer Sandoval investigated an attempted residential burglary on Joaquin Murieta Ave.



4/1/15

1159 Hours: Officer Knutson investigated an auto burglary in the parking lot of BJ’s restaurant.

1254 Hours: While in the area of Cedar Blvd/RR Tracks, Officer Hogan observed a male riding recklessly on a small motorcycle across all lanes of traffic. Office Hogan made a U-turn to initiate an enforcement stop. The male then sped away and ultimately got off the bike and began to flee on foot. Officer Hogan gave chase on his motorcycle at which point a 20-year-old male from Fremont surrendered and was taken into custody without incident for evasion.

1433 Hours: Officers Warren, Simon and Saunders responded to Jasmine Dr for a warrant service. A 44-year-old male from Newark was arrested for his warrant.

1704 Hours: During a warrant service on Rockrose Dr, SET and patrol units arrested a 31-year-old male from Newark for a warrant.

1751 Hours: Officers investigated a residential burglary on Bayonne Dr.


4/2/15

0859 Hours: CSO Verandes located an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the EZ-8 Motel.

1301 Hours: A 24-year-old male was arrested at NPD for a warrant while there for an unrated issue.

1800 Hours: Officers responded to Joaquin Murieta Ave for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. As a result, Officer Stone arrested a 26-year-old male from Newark for violating a court protection order.

2101 Hours: During a disturbance on Bellhaven Ave, a 43-year-old male from Newark was arrested for battery.
